Transition work

Transition work is a model to help our members into working life. 

​

The employer contributes with an employment with simple, structured and varied tasks that are easy to get used to.

​

The employment is limited to 6-9 months. The working hours are between 3-20 hours/week. The member applies for the job via the clubhouse, which selects who gets the job, and teaches the job duties. After a 6-9 month period, the employment is transferred to a new member from Pelaren. In case of illness, the clubhouse guarantees that the tasks will be carried out by another member or a supervisor from the clubhouse.

Transition work is a win-win situation. It creates belonging, self-esteem, new experiences and can be an important step in entering the labor market.
