The clubhouse is for people who have or have had mental illness.

Membership is voluntary, free and without time limit. You should be over 18 years old.

 

Åland's Fountainhouse association rf runs the Klubbhuset Pelaren, which started its operations in 2010 on Åland.

We are currently 144 members.

​

At Pelaren, we focus on the healthy, our strengths and abilities, on participation 

and social community. The work at the clubhouse is based on volunteering. Under it

work-oriented day, which is the basis of our business, planning,

together we design and implement all tasks in the house. All information is open to

whoever wants. 

​

At the clubhouse, you can work in the kitchen, in the café, at the reception or work with, among other things

administration or with our newspaper Pelarbladet. We work side by side in the house, and support 

each other. By working side by side, we also get to know each other.

​

Clubhouse Pelaren is part of a worldwide organization, Clubhouse International (www.clubhouseinternational.org), which is located in over

30 countries in the world, and includes more than 300 clubhouses.

Our clubhouse is accredited, which

means that we use the fountainhouse model and follow the 37 guidelines adopted 

internationally.
